Technical Document Specialist

manufacturing or engineering environment where organization is a must, this
position as a Technical Document Specialist may be perfect for you!

A leading supplier for the defense-aerospace, aviation and
industrial market is adding Technical Document Specialist to their team!
They take pride in making high-quality parts and equipment including Aircraft
Ground Support Equipment, such as ground power units (GPUs) and preconditioned
air (PCA) systems, Facility Power Systems, Onboard Frequency Converters, and
Laboratory Power Supplies. This company loves to promote from within and offers

Experience with BOMs, assembly drawings and data sheets will
get you to the top of the candidate pool for this Technical Document
Specialist
position!

This is a full-time, temporary-to-hire position that comes
with opportunities for growth and promotion.

 

Technical Document Specialist Responsibilities

  •     Manage and maintain technical documentation
  •     Create
    and maintain technical manuals
  •     Create and maintain master data in SyteLine
    ERP-System
  •     Control and manage Engineering Change Notice
    (ECN) Processes and Production Documentation
  •     Create and maintain Bills of Materials using
    business system software
  •     Special
    projects as required

Interface with engineering, sales, marketing and
manufacturing to successfully fulfill the above duties and responsibilities

Schedule:  Monday – Friday 7:30 am – 3:00 pm

 

Technical Document Specialist Requirements:

  • Must
    have excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Comprehensive knowledge of bills of
    materials structure, engineering principles, concepts, theories and
    practices
  • Ability
    to read and understand the organization and structure of technical
    documents, assembly prints, and parts lists
  • Good analytical capabilities and
    problem-solving skills
  • Attention
    to detail
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced team
    environment
  • Absolute
    proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Preferred experience with manipulating
    data in ERP systems. SyteLine system knowledge a plus

 Pay: $18-$22 / hour depending upon
experience
