If so, this senior position at Givaudan might be the perfect opportunity for you!As the Local Technical Manager, you will help grow Givaudan’s business by co-creating the French business strategy, hiring and developing top talents, and building customer relationships. You will be part of the French Taste & Wellbeing Commercial leadership team, working with industry leaders and making a significant impact on Givaudan’s success.You will be based in Argenteuil, France and report to the Technical Director Western Europe.In this exciting role, you will:

  • Guide and manage the technical resources (Flavour Creation & Application) reporting into our team.
  • Improve the skills of the creation & application team to maintain Givaudan’s industry-leading position.
  • Take an active role in building meaningful senior customer relationships.
  • Build stakeholder relationships to drive local technical needs aligned with our growth ambitions and strategy.
  • Manage and review our project pipeline, prioritizing resources following our market strategy and priorities.
  • Safeguard efficient and effective creative & technical development, ensuring successful execution of regional and targeted local customer projects.
  • Support the commercialization of regional and local projects.

To be successful in this role, you have:

  • At least 5 years of team management experience.
  • Experience in product development in an FMCG environment, flavor, or food ingredients.
  • Inspire communication and presentation skills.
  • Fluency in English (spoken and written) and French.
  • Solid project management skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, and Word).
  • Successful commercial history of accomplishments.
