As a Technical Recruiter at Shtudy, you will focus on permanent placement/direct hire recruitment in the tech sector. Your mission: connect the best technical talent with outstanding opportunities while building a solid client base in the Washington D.C., Maryland, and Virginia markets. You will start 100% commission-based and transition to a salary + commission structure once key performance targets are met.This role is 100% remote, however, you may be required to attend local events and meet with current and potential clients upon request.Key Responsibilities

  • Candidate Sourcing & Recruitment: Leverage your network and sourcing expertise to find and attract top-tier technical talent for permanent placements. You’ll engage with candidates through various channels, including job boards, social media, networking, and referrals.
  • Client Development: Build and maintain strong relationships with hiring managers and HR teams at tech companies. You’ll bring in at least one exclusive client via new business development or referrals within your first three months.
  • 180 Recruitment Focus: After securing your first exclusive client, you’ll shift to a 180 recruitment model, where you focus exclusively on placements, working with the exclusive and non-exclusive clients to fulfill their hiring needs.
  • Full-Cycle Recruiting: Manage the recruitment process from sourcing to offer negotiation, ensuring a seamless experience for candidates and clients.
  • Consultative Approach: Partner with clients to understand their unique hiring needs, delivering tailored solutions to help them build world-class teams.
  • Target Achievement: Achieve 6-10 placements within your first three months to unlock a base salary + commission structure.

Requirements

  • Minimum 3+ years of experience as an agency recruiter or headhunter specializing in technical roles.
  • Strong network of tech candidates and potential clients in the Washington D.C., Maryland, and Virginia areas.
  • Proven success in permanent placement or direct hire recruitment, with a track record of achieving placements and business development targets.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills with the ability to build trust and long-term relationships with clients and candidates.
  • Self-motivated and driven by a commission-based compensation structure.

Compensation

  • Commission: Start with 30% of the placement fee per hire.
  • Salary: Upon reaching 6-10 placements and securing 1 exclusive client within your first three months, you will transition to a tier-based salary + commission structure. The more placements you make, the higher your base salary will be.
