We design and build bespoke solutions and also offer a comprehensive range of products for hire and sale. SummaryWe are looking for a dynamic and experienced Technical Sales and Marketing Manager to take responsibility for business-to-business relationships with new and existing clients. The role will involve researching potential markets and products, networking, and managing the company’s internet presence. A strong technical knowledge of the offshore surveying industry is essential.Responsibilities Listen to client requirements and present appropriate solutions Maintain and develop business relationships Prepare tenders, proposals, and quotes in response to inquiries Represent the company at trade exhibitions Improve website content and enhance the online customer experience Support and manage the company’s social media presence Increase brand awareness and visibility within the industry Identify new opportunities for revenue within our market sector Negotiate contracts and close sales deals Liaise with other sections of the company to ensure a seamless customer experience Manage and lead the sales and marketing team Essential Experience & Attributes Minimum of 2 years’ experience in the offshore survey industry Competent with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) High degree of self-motivation, initiative, and ambition Ability to work both independently and as part of a team Capability to flourish in a competitive environment Strong numeracy skills Ability and desire to sell Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written A positive, confident, and resilient approach Experience in negotiating to achieve positive outcomes Desirable Experience & Attributes Experience in a customer-facing role Knowledge of import and export procedures Understanding of commercial contracts and processes across the globe Website maintenance and digital marketing experience Ability to interpret and understand technical data and drawings If you are a motivated and technically-minded individual looking to make an impact in a rapidly growing company, we would love to hear from you!
