Our small tool machines and lab equipment are installed in prestigious high-tech companies and must be kept operational.www.struers.comDue to its international growth, the company needs to hire a Technical Service Manager for its French, Spanish and Italian markets:TECHNICAL SERVICE MANAGER
Paris-based (Champigny-sur-Marne)Reporting to the GM and based in the Paris area, the position will cover the following areas: * Service Management (people management) – workshop technicians + coordinators = 11 people

  • Service Planning and After Sales
  • Complaint Handling

A focus on growing the business will require strong day-to-day management to ensure coordination, planning and that new global processes are implemented and followed.Furthermore, the Service Manager will ensure the continued growth and plan coverage.The position is based in France (near Paris), and the new Service Manager will be a part of the Global Service Management in the Functional Service Matrix, with Service Managers from Struers’ Global Business Units.The role will actively participate in shaping the future of Struers through the service matrix.QUALIFICATIONS

  • Technical background (BAC + 2 minimum)
  • Good level of English – C1 Advanced level
  • Spanish and Italian as a plus

COMPETENCIES

  • Proven experience (5 years) in field services and in managing a technical service team with +4 field engineers/technicians
  • Strong technical knowledge and familiarity with field service operations, including installations, repairs and maintenance
  • Excellent leadership (8 years) and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a diverse team.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Change management skills and mindset
  • Problem solving
  • Proficiency in software tools and systems for field service management
  • Customer-driven team player
  • Project management skills and experience
