💰 Salary: £48,000 – £53,000 per year

We are looking for a proactive and skilled Technical Services Manager to join an established team at a prominent hospital in the Manchester area.This is a fantastic opportunity to lead a team, manage a range of estate services, and make a real difference in a healthcare environment.What You’ll Do:✅ Lead and manage electrical, mechanical, and building services across the hospital.
✅ Act as an Authorised Person for key estate systems, ensuring compliance with UK regulations.
✅ Respond to estate emergencies, activating escalation plans when required.
✅ Oversee planned maintenance, emergency repairs, and capital projects to keep the hospital running smoothly.
✅ Manage and develop a team of skilled estates staff and contractors.
✅ Provide technical advice to teams, ensuring best practices and high safety standards.
✅ Control budgets, manage service contracts, and drive cost-effective solutions.
✅ Ensure all estate records, audits, and compliance requirements are met.
✅ Works as part of a larger estates management team where you will be supported and offered good progression opportunities.What We’re Looking For:

• Strong technical background – ideally electrical – in large commercial systems (the site features, UPS, HV and LV)
• Experience in facilities in a live customer environment
• Good people person able to communicate at all levels
• Ability to motivate a team of engineers and lead from the front
