Just IT have harnessed the latest technologies to provide a remote learning product that means our learners can benefit from all our training and development programmes wherever they are. We use the latest Online Learning Platforms, such as Pluralsight, GoToTraining, MS Teams, Zoom and Citrix (GoToMyPC) to allow completion of practical’s on high-spec machines. We are currently delivering a remote model of learning; however, the role can also involve some classroom-based training in our London office.ResponsibilitiesIn common with all staff:

Role Responsibilities:
- Motivate and encourage learning and development in your learners, promoting independent learning.
- Create an engaging/interactive learning environment which caters to various learning styles and to diverse learning needs, including neurodivergent learners and those with additional support requirements.
- Effectively adapt training delivery in an online learning environment, utilising a range of digital tools to enhance learner engagement.
- Understand the development and implementation of lesson plans and schemes of work, ensuring alignment with the Knowledge, Skills, and Behaviours (KSBs) outlined by the IfATE Apprenticeship Standards.
- Regularly update training materials and resources to reflect current industry standards, trends, and employer requirements.
- Have knowledge of Ofsted’s Education Inspection Framework (EIF) to consistently work at a ‘Good’ or ‘Outstanding’ level, demonstrating the impact of high-quality teaching and learner outcomes.
- Accurately record and report learner progress and activity to management, in a timely and professional manner.
- Collaborate closely with the Apprenticeship team/Career Support team on candidates who may be at risk or not progressing as expected, providing timely interventions.
- Support the development and progress of all learners, ensuring differentiation in teaching methods to meet individual learner needs and varying starting points.
- Actively develop new initiatives and learner-centered training methodologies to impact candidates’ learning positively, embedding best practices.
- Develop tailored training plans to ensure a clear understanding of the needs of both the employer and apprentice, incorporating updates to meet changing industry demands.
- Ensure that Just IT Training is perceived within the market as a high-quality provider of Apprenticeship solutions to both candidates and clients alike, driving continual improvement through learner feedback and quality assurance processes.
- Ensure best practices and be aware of Health and Safety, Safeguarding, Prevent Duty, Equal Opportunities, and related Acts, actively embedding these principles into teaching and learning.
- Contribute to quality assurance and self-assessment processes, ensuring compliance with Ofsted, ESFA, and IfATE requirements.
Candidate Requirements
- PGCE/Certificate in Education or a relevant teaching qualification
- Strong commitment to pursuing and maintaining CPD (Continuing Professional Development) in both subject expertise and teaching practice.
- Record of delivering consistently high-quality training and achieving positive learner outcomes, evidenced through learner satisfaction, progression, and achievement data.
- Proven track record of developing systems and processes that have raised quality and improved teaching standards in line with Ofsted and apprenticeship delivery requirements.
- Successfully demonstrated the creation of industry-aligned, innovative curriculum content that is maintained as current and relevant.
- Deep understanding of safeguarding and Prevent responsibilities in an education setting, including proactive identification and support for vulnerable learners.
- Experience working effectively with internal and external stakeholders, such as employers and awarding bodies, to enhance learner experiences and outcomes.
- Flexible approach to working in a fast-paced environment and experience managing change
- Highly motivated, persuasive, persistent, and patient, with a passion for developing the next generation of IT professionals.
- Professional demeanour, with the ability to build rapport and trust with learners, colleagues, and employers.
- Experience in designing structured learner progression pathways through different stages of learning, including preparation for End Point Assessments (EPA).
- Collaborative team player, willing to contribute to the success of the entire business unit, demonstrating a growth mindset and commitment to continuous improvement.
- Highly skilled in providing constructive, actionable feedback that enhances learner performance and development.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to adapt language to different audiences, including technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Proficient in using Microsoft Office Applications and digital learning platforms such as Learner Management Systems (OneFile), MS Teams, and VLE (Virtual Learning Environment) platforms.
