What are we looking for?

We are currently recruiting for a Lift Service Technician (ideally NVQ Level 4 qualified or equivalent qualified – but open to supporting an NVQ L3 qualified engineer who can demonstrate expert knowledge and a desire to progress and develop in the role). The ideal candidate will provide technical support, escalations and trouble-shooting to engineers in and across London and the South East region.

As a qualified lift Technician you will be expected to:

• Provide technical support and trouble-shooting to a wide range of equipment

• Ensure Shut Down Resolution within contract target KPI’s

• Identify problems via root cause analysis and implement corrective actions

• Mentor and assist in upskilling of local lift engineers

• Travel when and where required in order to resolve particular issues as and when they arise.

• Conduct Technical Surveys on problematic equipment

To be successful in this role you will:

• Be qualified to at least NVQ Level 4 or equivalent

• Have in-depth knowledge of a variety of different makes and types of equipment, such as dock-levellers, goods and platform lifts, scissor lifts and hydraulics

• Have all-round knowledge of lift equipment and that you can demonstrate that you can apply lift engineering principles to maintenance and fault diagnosis.
