More specifically, you will be responsible to:

  • Initiate effective collaboration with market managers. Prepare and analyze changes in costs and margins. Present the reality of the resale structure in worksheets;
  • Detect and report margin and cost problems;
  • Monitor and maintain the accuracy of pricing data;
  • Create descriptions of new products in the right product category; Specifications for entry into the computer system;
  • Compile and analyze price update processing times to identify bottlenecks: Supplier, Product Manager, MIS, Purchasing Clerk. Find and propose solutions;
  • Analyze weekly « discrepancy » reports to determine the source of problems and make the necessary corrections. Develop new work tools or processes to curb the phenomenon;
  • Analyze monthly prices of national promotions to ensure that there is no conflict with regional pricing structures. Propose new prices;
  • Prepare the inflation report that is used by senior management to calculate the percentage increase in organic sales;
  • Prepares and distributes the price change reports published weekly in « L’approvisionneur »;
  • Analyze prices and gross margins of contract price requests sent by the store network and distribution centers to ensure a reasonable profit margin.

QualificationsTo join our team, you need:

  • Minimum of one (1) year of relevant experience;
  • Very strong knowledge of Excel and databases;
  • Very good analytical and mathematical skills;
  • Rigorous in the execution and follow-up of established procedures;
  • Good computer skills;
  • Oral and written bilingualism (French and English)
  • College or university degree in Operations Management, Logistics or Administration.
