Temporary HR Assistant

This company’s mission is to help underserved populations gain access to apprenticeship programs to build their careers. They have many different programs to serve our local communities. This is a great opportunity to give back and gain experience working with a non-profit organization.

This is a full-time, Temporary HR Assistant role expected to last until the end of October. In this role, you will be assisting the HR Manager with organizing personnel files, screening applicants, scheduling interviews, and onboarding.

Temporary HR Assistant Job Duties:

  • Support with greeting and welcoming visitors
  • Manage general inbox and distribute mail to appropriate parties
  • Maintain supplies
  • Admin duties- filing, typing, copying, binding, scanning, etc.
  • Take meeting minutes
  • Maintain and update employee records
  • Screen resumes and applications, set up interviews
  • Help onboard employees

Schedule:
Monday to Friday, 8am-4:30pm

Pay:
$31-$32.90 per hour

Temporary HR Assistant Job Requirements:

  • 2+ years of HR or high level admin experience?
  • Strong computer skills with basic Excel
  • Prior experience with recruitment/candidate screening
