Receptionist (Maternity Cover)Location: London OfficeSalary: £15 per hourHours: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PMContract Length: 1 Month (Maternity Cover)Our client is looking for an enthusiastic and professional Receptionist to join our London office on a 1-month maternity cover. The successful candidate will provide an efficient and effective front-of-house reception service, ensuring that all calls are answered promptly and visitors are greeted professionally. The role will also involve administrative support to senior executives. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual who thrives in a dynamic environment and enjoys interacting with both clients and colleagues.Responsibilities:

  • Welcome all visitors to the London office in a professional and friendly manner, acting as the first point of contact. Announce visitors to the relevant staff members.
  • Ensure all incoming telephone calls are answered efficiently and professionally. Direct calls as appropriate or handle them where possible.
  • Manage the booking of meeting rooms through the online booking system. Arrange refreshments for meetings as requested. Ensure meeting rooms are maintained, clean, and stocked with necessary supplies. Ensure video conferencing and teleconference equipment are in working order.
  • Prepare identity badges and access cards for all new employees.
  • Order and maintain office supplies and stationery as needed.
  • Build and maintain effective working relationships with other support staff, both within the office.
  • Support various departments by coordinating events and meetings, including room bookings, refreshments, and delegate packs.

Person Specification:

  • Strong understanding of internal and external client relationships, ensuring that both are well taken care of.
  • Ability to work independently while also being an effective collaborator within a team, sharing the team’s vision and working towards common goals.
  • Able to prioritize tasks, adapt to changing demands, and demonstrate excellent judgment in organising work.
  • Prioritize responsiveness and speed of delivery to meet the needs of the office and senior executives.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to represent the company in a professional manner both in person and over the phone.
  • A self-starter with a commitment to personal development and growth within the role.
