** Qualifying candidates eligible for salary and benefits package after 90 days of employment **Creative and fun culinary opportunities.The Farmhouse at Peoples Light in Malvern, PA, seeks experienced part-time Line and Prep Cooks.The Farmhouse at Peoples Light includes a 1700s farmhouse, a modern 175-person ballroom, a hardwood-floored and cathedral-ceilinged indoor pavilion, and a revolutionary-era barn converted into a 350-seat theatre, all surrounded by our meticulously curated English gardens.All proceeds at The Farmhouse support our non-profit cultural and civic center, People’s Light.The #1 thing we want this role to accomplish initially is to add to our team’s success.The ideal candidate loves cooking, is skilled at maintaining a calm demeanor under pressure, and values teamwork.Company culture:

• Line Cook
• Prep Cook

Compensation:

• $25 hourly
• $625-1000 weekly take-home
• Paid bi-weekly

Schedule requirements:

• 25-40 hours per week (depending on events and restaurant days)

Language requirements:

• English

Experience required:

• 2+ years of recent culinary experience in a similar role in a high-volume professional kitchen
• A la Carte and banquet experience
• Menu prep and design
• Quality plate production and flavor profiles
• Food safety knowledge
• ServeSafe certification required
• Ordering & receiving, inventory
• Staff training and motivation
