TIG Welder

Do you have 2 years of previous TIG and MIG welding experience and are looking for a great opportunity to grow your career and earn a great starting pay? Experience welding frames? Even better! 

This is a rare opportunity to join an up-and-coming manufacturing company in Portland, OR that supports some of the largest companies in the semiconductor industry, and they’re adding experienced TIG Welders to their team. In this position you would be working to weld stainless steel frames and straightening using a torch to get to their customer specifications. 

This is a direct-hire opportunity, which means you’ll work directly for the company from day one!

TIG Welder Job Duties:

• Perform welding on materials like stainless steel, mild steel and nickel alloys
• Quality inspection your completed work to ensure quality standards are met
• Follow written instructions and drawings
• Follow safety guidelines at all times

Schedule: Monday – Friday, 6am-2:30pm

• Some weeks, must be comfortable working overtime of up to 20 hours/wk.

TIG Welder Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of previous TIG and MIG welding experience – Semiconductor is preferred
• Must have your own welding hood
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
• Must be able to pass a TIG/MIG weld test on-site

Pay: $36-39/Hour
