Our client is hiring for a Tool and Die maker to join their team in London.The Tool and Die Maker is responsible for creating, and maintaining precision tools, dies, and molds used in manufacturing processes. This role involves interpreting blueprints and technical drawings, operating various machinery, and ensuring that tools and dies meet the required specifications and standards.– Interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications to design and fabricate tools, dies, and molds.
– Use precision measuring instruments to ensure that tools and dies meet required tolerances and quality standards.
– Operate machinery to manufacture parts and components.
– Assemble and fit parts and tools to ensure proper functioning and performance.
– Inspect, maintain, and repair tools, dies, and molds to ensure they remain in good working condition.
– Troubleshoot and resolve issues with tools and equipment to minimize downtime.
– Conduct quality checks on finished products and tools to ensure they meet engineering and safety standards
– Work closely with teams to develop and refine tools and dies based on product requirements and feedback.
– Provide technical support and guidance to other team members as needed.
– Maintain accurate records of tool and die specifications, maintenance activities, and repair history using Tooling Work Reports.Liberty Staffing Services welcomes and encourages applications from people with disabilities. Qualifications:
Relevant certifications in tool and die making or machinist training may be required. Ability to lift and move heavy materials and tools. Manual dexterity and the ability to work with small and intricate parts.
