Tool and Die Maker Job Duties:

• Prepare and set up the wire EDM machine for
  specific projects, ensuring it’s calibrated for precision cutting.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings and
  specifications to understand the required dimensions and tolerances.
• Choose the appropriate materials for dies and
  tools, considering factors like strength and wear resistance.
• Oversee the EDM cutting process, making
  adjustments as necessary to ensure quality and accuracy.
• Inspect finished parts using measuring tools and
  gauges to ensure they meet the required specifications.

Schedule: Monday – Friday

Pay: $22- $25/hr

Tool and Die Maker Requirements:

• Prior experience in machining or tool and die
  making, especially with wire EDM machines, is often required.
• Proficiency in operating wire EDM machines and
  understanding electrical discharge machining principles.
• Ability to read and interpret technical
  drawings, blueprints, and schematics.
• Strong attention to detail to ensure precision
  in measurements and cuts, as well as a commitment to maintaining high-quality
  standards.
