Tool And Die Maker

A locally founded manufacturing company in Bothell is looking to add a Tool and Die Maker to their team! If you have 5-10 years of experience we want to hear from you!

This Tool and Die Maker position is a full-time, permanent opportunity that offers plenty of career development.

They manufacture and distribute a wide range of pipe products for the waterworks and wastewater industries- all made here in the US! The company prides itself on the quality of its products and its ability to quickly meet requirements for its customer’s custom designs.

Tool and Die Maker job duties:

• Work closely with Engineering to conceptualize the development and configuration of new production and solve technical problems. Maintain production readiness of existing equipment and tooling

• Interpret complicated specifications such as blueprints, drawings, and sketches to determine the best approach for machining, assembly, and sequence of operations to machine components or assemblies.
• Operate and set up machining equipment including, lathes, milling machines, precision surface grinders, drills, presses, and cutoff equipment
• Use sole discretion to calculate machining dimensions based on finished part requirements, as well as verify dimensional accuracy
• Support ongoing operation of equipment, dies, fixtures, tooling, and custom making unavailable parts as well as repairing damaged components

Tool and Die Maker requirments:

• 5-10 years of tool and die making experience

• Able to work successfully without supervison

• Advanced competency with reading sketches and blue prints

• Able to successfully run drill presses, lathe machines, milling machines, precision surface grinder, cuttoff equipment, and hydraulic presses

Shift: 

• Monday – Friday 5:00am-3:30pm

Pay: 

• $35-$45 per hour
