Training and Learning Lead (Northeast India)

Founded in 1792, with William Carey (the ‘Father of Modern Missions’) as one of its founders, BMS World Mission is one of the most historic mission organisations in the world.

BMS is looking for someone to lead, support, and contribute to the development and implementation of the learning programmes of the Department of Intercultural Learning and Collaboration (ILC).

The Training and Learning Lead will be responsible for planning, coordinating, administering, and implementing training and learning programmes in missions for participants from the Majority World. The role will develop and sustain collaborations with partners involved in the mobilization, recruitment, training, and sending of people in mission both for short-term and long-term work. The role will also require research and analysis of learning outcomes, creating knowledge and producing both academic and practical material in world Christianity and world mission.

Location: Remote/Northeast India
Job type: full-time/fixed-term contract (12 months), with the possibility of an extension.
Hours: 35 hrs. per week/full time
Salary range: The salary will be set at a national equivalent of a UK salary of £34817 to £39132 and based on relative national salary levels of the relevant country.
