Job Description:Position Overview:Transdev Ontario, operating under Priority Patient Transfer Services and Voyago brands is hiring for a Training Facilitator, Eastern Ontario in support of our growing Non-Emergency Patient Transfer activities.Reporting directly to the Director of Operations, the Training Facilitator is responsible for leading orientations for all new hires and existing employees, and assisting in maintaining and upgrading our attendants’ skillsets. The Training Facilitator will also provide operations support to the Patient Transfer division. This role includes the ability to provide a high degree of customer service in a fast-paced healthcare work environment and supporting several roles within the Patient Transfer Division.Primary Responsibilities
- Conduct all orientation & training sessions for any new, or existing staff as needed including the Emergency First Responder Certifications and Refreshers.
- Direct and give instruction to attendants as they perform specific runs and give direction where required
- Complete reports per assessment or as directed by NEMT Director of Operations
- Complete Audits as assigned by Health and Safety
- Perform pre-employment and annual driving assessments
- Ensure all attendants follow proper procedures as outlined by NEMT Policies and Procedures Manual
- Assist with maintaining proper inventory and equipment levels for orientation and training
- All other duties as outlined by the Director of Operations
Requirements:As the ideal candidate you will possess the following qualifications that include, but are not limited to, the following:
- You have proven experience within Non-Urgent Patient Transfer industry.
- You demonstrate a positive engaged and organized impression to new trainees in order to establish expectations of our attendants that align with the corporate mission and vision values.
- You hold a current Advanced First Aid & CPR Certification / Emergency First Responder Certification or equivalent
- You have Excellent, strong proven customer service experience.
- You have a Professional telephone manner.
- You have great Time and Stress Management skills.
- You have Experience using computers and entering data on computer (keyboard skills).
- You are confident in your In-depth knowledge of Eastern Ontario Region
- You have Good organization and communications skills.
- You have in-depth knowledge of Patient Transfer techniques and procedures.
- You have Previous Management, Supervisory or Training experience.
