Put simply, we’re a bunch of travel lovers looking for more travel lovers to join our family.An average day in the lifeThis is an exciting opportunity to join our rapidly growing corporate travel business supporting Europe under our global FCM brand and recognised as one of the top 5 corporate travel TMCs locally and globally.This role will work closely with other team members in UK and equivalent roles in other European Markets including Germany, Netherlands, Nordics & France. The individual is responsible for ensuring they deliver on all their responsibilities across: Financial Control, Customer Focus and Process Efficiency: This includes Accounts Payable, (both Travel and Head Office payables), Accounts Receivable, Banking and FCM Invoicing.The role will require the individual to be the subject matter expert and to have a deep understanding of end-to-end process flows to be able to trouble shoot and resolve queries. A key aspect of the role will be that of problem solving with the individual having a high attention to detail.By being subject matter expert, the individual will be able to ensure processes are robust, streamlined and limit risk and fraud.You might be perfect for the role if

  • French speaking is essential
  • Previous experience in Transactional Finance (2 year minimum) – AP, AR and Bank Reconciliations
  • Strong communication skills, both spoken and written, with an ability to communicate with finance and non-finance individuals
  • Intermediate level of Excel experience required
  • A strong attention to detail and understanding of the importance of accuracy.
  • A logical approach to problem solving
  • Appreciation of accounting fundamentals and importance of strong financial controls
  • Ability to work to deadlines and deliver on commitments
  • Strong customer service approach
  • Good time management; being flexible and adaptable
  • A keen desire to learn new things
  • A proven focus on improving efficiency and effectiveness of processes.
  • A genuine team player, appreciating the importance of team goals
