This includes private healthcare for all UK-based employees, enhanced maternity and adoption pay and support when you return to work, and a contributory pension scheme with a generous employer contribution.We are currently seeking an experienced individual to join this team in the role of Transformation Senior Manager – Global Insurance Finance.The Transformation team are responsible for overseeing the delivery of the Global Insurance Finance transformation programme, driving modernisation, increasing efficiency, and aligning the Finance function with the company’s strategic goals and regulatory requirements.In this role, you will:

  • Oversee the re-design of core Global Insurance finance processes and operating models to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Oversee change management and communications, including planning, tracking, and progress updates.
  • Design and oversee Programme governance that is in accordance with HSBC Change Framework, including standards, policies, and procedures.
  • Manage the Transformation programme’s resourcing, hiring processes, budgeting, and 3rd party engagement.
  • Oversee the people and culture initiatives required to drive change e.g. learning programmes, people engagement initiatives, etc.
  • Partner with key teams to integrate finance transformation initiatives into the broader business strategy.
  • Support technology integration for the function, including the selection and implementation of new financial systems and tools.
  • Stay up to date with emerging trends and technologies and assess their potential impact on the finance function.

RequirementsTo be successful in this role you should meet the following requirements:

  • Demonstrable experience in finance with experience in driving large-scale transformation or change within financial services.
  • Understanding and knowledge of Life insurance products, accounting standards (IFRS17), and key regulatory regimes / frameworks (e.g. Solvency II).
  • Collaborative, engaging, credible, and methodical; being able to bring the technical elements to life (e.g. presenting complex topics in a simple way).
  • Demonstrable experience in project management, including managing multiple people, stakeholders, and deliverables.
  • Experience building, influencing, and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders (all levels of seniority and geographies).
