As a Travel Sales Consultant you will be a member of our North American Contact Centre answering inbound calls, creating bookings, and delivering the highest standard of customer service, with the aim of delivering commercial growth in line with business objectives. This will be achieved by following a dedicated sales framework, service and quality assurance and keeping commercial targets at the forefront of what you do. You will collaborate closely with the rest of the global Sales team, as well as other key departments within the business, to achieve booking targets and consistently achieve stretch key performance indicators. Your focus will be on excellent customer service, proactive pipeline lead management, and should be driven by the consistent achievement of targets.What you will be doing:

  • Responding to sales enquiries from inbound calls, emails, and live chats. Occasionally, you may be required to make outbound sales calls, where demand requires
  • Working to Sales KPI’s and achieving/exceeding monthly sales targets
  • Processing bookings from enquiry through to taking a deposit and confirming the booking
  • Delivering the highest standard of Customer Service – our motto is to go above & beyond
  • Administration duties required to complete reservations, book flights, or request additional services from our ground teams
  • Use varied and creative sales techniques to convert bookings and drive results

What we are looking for:

  • Strong sales background with experience and success in a previous sales position, ideally from within the travel industry, although this is not a pre-requisite
  • The highest level of tenacity, curiosity, and a strong work ethic with a drive to self-develop skillsets
  • Proven track record of hitting sales targets
  • Excellent listening, storytelling, and communication skills, and the ability to use this to bring travel experiences to life
  • Genuine passion for excellence in customer care
  • Demonstrable geographical knowledge and a passion for adventure travel
