This is an exciting, newly created position, driven by the growth of our services and an enhanced model of care.About the Role:
As a Triage Clinician, you will play a crucial role in the urgent care pathway. You’ll assess both adult and paediatric patients, providing advice, signposting, and repatriation where appropriate. Your expertise will help determine whether patients need immediate medical attention, and you’ll prioritize cases based on clinical need to ensure timely and effective care.You will work alongside a dynamic Multidisciplinary Team (MDT), ensuring smooth communication and the safe management of patients throughout each shift. This collaborative role offers you the chance to make a significant difference in patient care while developing your skills in a growing service.Key Responsibilities:

• Assess patients of all ages, making critical decisions on their need for immediate medical attention.
• Prioritize patients effectively based on clinical need, ensuring timely reviews.
• Work as part of the MDT, contributing to effective communication and patient safety.
• Participate in ongoing in-house training and attend any necessary courses to enhance your skills.

The job holder must have the following knowledge, training and experience:

• Registration with the NMC
• Post registration experience
• Evidence of recent training and development or courses
• Evidence of continued professional development
• Good time management skills
• Previous experience working as part of a team
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• A good knowledge of urgent care clinical conditions
• A good understanding or previous experience in triage
