About our Team:

  • The UK Channel Sales team is at the heart of key relationships and operations across both digital and print landscapes. Within the Book Sales Department, we work with major vendors in the UK and across our international and global markets.
  • The team has strong relationships with our counterparts in the US, our Higher Education sales colleagues, the Marketing and Editorial departments, and also with Production, Manufacturing, Circulation and Technology.

  • Take ownership of resolving issues and queries efficiently.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to determine and successfully implement digital projects.
  • Apply advanced Excel skills to organise, analyse and distribute data.
  • Bring to bear your knowledge of CoreSource and ONIX to improve operational efficiency.
  • Strictly prioritize tasks that generate revenue and contribute to our sales goals.
  • Exhibit excellent time management, organizational, and prioritising skills with a high attention to detail.
  • Work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment.

Your new role:

  • You will oversee the operational relationships with Sage’s major eBook and print customers, especially in the effective distribution of ebook files and metadata.
  • The role also plays a key part in driving our print and digital sales with Amazon and efficiently coordinating with our POD vendors.
  • Collaboration is at the heart of this role. You’ll work closely with various internal departments, fostering positive relationships to ensure that all aspects of our ebook operations run seamlessly. Your expertise in data governance will be invaluable, and you’ll provide advice and feedback to Sage, helping to shape our data governance policies and practices.
  • As a key contact for the business, you’ll offer advice and testing feedback for any system and data changes that might impact our ebook processes and sales. Your insights will be crucial in ensuring that these changes are implemented smoothly and effectively.
  • In addition to these responsibilities, you’ll also complete various data and digital-related tasks. You’ll be a stakeholder in digital projects, contributing your expertise and insights to help drive these projects forward.
