The Underwriting Team Leader role involves leading and managing an underwriting team, overseeing applications from key European regions, and ensuring efficient operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for team performance, training, and stakeholder engagement while maintaining high underwriting standards.The ideal Underwriting Team Leader will:

• Manage a team of 5-10, overseeing underwriting applications for key European regions.
• Set clear team goals, monitor performance, and ensure effective day-to-day operations.
• Provide training, coaching, and motivation to team members while maintaining quality control.
• Liaise with stakeholders, including auditors, and assist with credit decisions on large exposures.
• Contribute to process improvements and participate in hiring and training new employees.

• A motivated team leader with at least 1-2 years of experience in a leadership role.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage performance and resolve conflicts.
• Experience in underwriting, KYC, or payments is desirable but not essential.
