So, whether you’re looking to build new skills, make an impact in your community, or inspire your team, we go there for you.We are currently hiring for the position of Unit Manager.Hours of Work: Friday to Tuesday shift (Wednesday and Thursday are regular days off) 37.5 hours per week, however, a reasonable number of additional hours will be required to meet operational objectives.Start time: Approximately 10:30 am (subject to change based on seasonal requirements)Responsibilities: Manage a group of unionized couriers, provide support to PM Warehouse operations, and weekend operationsJob DescriptionDescriptionManage and supervise courier operations and provide support to PM warehouse and weekend operations
Manage a group of unionized employees.
Create a positive work environment, building employee loyalty and a team atmosphere.
Responsible for achieving objectives as outlined in the operational scorecard.
Responsible for managing performance of employees as per operational standards and indices.
Improve operational standards through reviews of employee performance, coaching, counseling and recognition.
Responsible for communicating and implementing policy, procedure or programs.
Responsible for completing a variety of reports and documents.
