Full-Time Urgent Care Veterinarian – Hiring Immediately + Great Salary – Springfield, MAAn exciting opportunity is now available for an Urgent Care Veterinarian in Springfield, MA. The clinic, opening in Spring 2025 , will bridge the gap between daytime general practice and emergency/overnight care, providing after-hours services for canine and feline patients without the added expense of emergency clinic fees. The clinic offers single-doctor shifts , focusing on common urgent cases such as wound management, ear infections, vomiting/diarrhea, and euthanasia.The state-of-the-art clinic will be fully equipped with cloud-based EMR , digital x-ray , and IDEXX in-house lab equipment , designed to deliver efficient and compassionate care.Key Benefits:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide exceptional, relationship-based care to patients and clients.
  • Collaborate with the clinical team and leadership to ensure a positive, efficient practice environment.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships within the Springfield community.
  • Foster the growth of support staff through the clinic’s LevelUp training program.
  • Manage a dynamic caseload, including urgent care and minor surgeries during open hours.

Qualifications:

  • DVM/VMD degree from an AVMA-accredited college or completion of the ECFVG or PAVE program.
  • Active license to practice in Illinois (or the ability to obtain licensure prior to employment).
