Job Title: Shipping AssociateJob DescriptionThe Pharmacy Shipping Associate is responsible for packing and shipping prescriptions according to client specifications and performing other assigned duties.Responsibilities

• Perform routine and professional pharmacy functions.
• Accurately pack and ship prescription orders in a timely manner.
• Stock freezers with gel packs.
• Follow all procedures and pack-out processes when shipping an order.
• Respect and adhere to HIPAA and privacy law guidelines, as well as other local or federal laws.
• Aid in the enforcement of all company policies and procedures.
• Perform Quality Assurance checks on automated technology specific to pharmacy equipment and shipping requirements.
• Maintain a clean and orderly work site.
• Keep an adequate stock of boxes and supplies at the shipping station.

Essential Skills

• One (1) year of logistics experience.
• One (1) year of previous pharmacy experience with exposure to fulfillment of prescription orders.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to lift 20lbs.
• Ability to work in a standing environment.
• Ability to communicate effectively, patiently, and courteously.
• Ability to perform repetitious work accurately.
• Ability to handle multiple activities or interruptions at once.
• Attention to detail.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Preferred, one-year minimum of shipping/receiving experience.
• Ability to learn from a variety of techniques.
• Ability to follow established process flows.
• Ability to work effectively in highly stressful situations, exhibiting flexibility in changing situations.
• Focused team player who can work in conjunction with pharmacists, other departments, and management.
• Work independently with little supervision and meet daily deadlines.

Work EnvironmentThis position requires working in a standing environment at the Indiana location. The work involves lifting, carrying, and moving up to 50 pounds. Job activities are performed 100% inside with exposure to noise and vibrations. The role requires reaching, handling, and feeling, as well as standing, bending, stooping, and sitting for prolonged periods of time. Typical hours are from 10:00 AM to 6:30 PM.Company benefits:

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $16.50 – $16.50/hr.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
