Actalent is currently hiring multiple tissue processing technicians in the Dayton, OH area. These are long term openings in a lab setting with lots of room for growth! This role requires previous expiernece handling and processing specimen, knowledge of standard protocols and having expiernece wearing PPE. The ideal candidate will have expiernece handling biological specimen in a lab setting and following protocols and expiernece wearing PPE.These openings are on 2nd Shift 3:30-11PM and 3rd shift 11:00PM-7:30AM with expected OTJob DescriptionThe Tissue Processing Technician will perform debridement, processing, packaging, and labeling of human tissue products for surgical transplantation while ensuring compliance with applicable federal, state, and AATB regulations

• Perform processing, debridement, packaging, labeling, and shipment of finished products.
• Utilize special techniques, instrumentation, and equipment to clean and size tissue to specifications and protocols.
• Assist Team Lead with efforts in maintaining inventory levels on the core and dock for receiving supplies.
• Perform lab cleaning activities as required by policies, protocols, procedures, and SOPs.
• Work with Quality and Regulatory staff to ensure compliance with all federal, state, and AATB regulations and requirements, particularly those pertaining to manufacturing.
• Correctly complete production documentation as required in tissue processing in accordance with standard operating procedures and quality standards.
• Assist with production records as needed.
• Perform other duties as directed by the Supervisor.
• Comply with all company policies and procedures.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• High School Diploma
• Prior Medical/Healthcare experience is a plus
• Prior Quality Assurance or Quality Control experience is a plus
• Experience working in a regulated environment is a big plus
• Must be comfortable sitting and standing for long periods of time
• Desire to be in the position long term
• Handling biological specimen

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $19.50 – $19.50Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
