You will be part of our team in Manchester or London working on a hybrid basis.Purpose Of The Role:We blend strategy and creativity to provide exceptional user experiences and drive measurable results. Our team is passionate, dynamic, and fast-paced.The ideal candidate will have a strong background in both UX and UI design and will be confident in creating engaging and intuitive designs. You will work across multiple clients and industries to create best-in-class user experiences.The role also requires some management skills to ensure work is delegated and delivered accurately. Experience in conducting UX research is a desirable bonus.Key Responsibilities:

  • Create visually compelling and user-friendly responsive webpage designs across desktop, mobile and tablet.
  • Develop wireframes, high-fidelity designs and rapid prototypes, that effectively communicate design ideas and solutions.
  • Iterate on designs based on user feedback and performance metrics/insights.
  • Actively participate in project kick-offs, workshops, ideations and team meetings.
  • Occasionally support with injecting creativity into presentations or new business pitch assets.
  • Adhere to various brand guidelines across multiple clients and industries.
  • Keep up to date with industry trends.
  • Support with UX Research (surveys, interviews, and usability testing).

Key Skills:

  • Proficiency in leading design tools: Figma and Adobe Creative Suite (in particular XD, Illustrator, Photoshop)
  • Strong understanding of UX principles including information architecture, hierarchy, user flows and accessibility.
  • Strong understanding of design fundamentals including colour theory, typography and balance.
  • Ability to analyse research data and translate findings into actionable design improvements.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to confidently present and defend design decisions to both internal and client stakeholders.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and creative flair.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects across multiple clients, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Basic understanding of Front-End technologies: HTML, CSS, REACT, JavaScript would be an added bonus.
  • An understanding of media and digital agency departments would be highly advantageous but not mandatory (SEO, PPC, Digital PR, Paid/Organic Social).
  • Ability to create simple animations and edit videos using Adobe After Effects is beneficial but not essential.

Experience:

  • 3+ years of experience in UX/UI design.
  • Experience working on complex SaaS or enterprise level tools/platforms (e.g. Software and tooling design, portals, dashboards and intranets, learning services). Any experience in designing tools with a workflow/service design angle too is advantageous.
  • Experience working with data, testing, research and analytics to support decision-making.
  • Experience in conducting user research is useful but not mandatory. We have a small dedicated research team who we often support and collaborate with.
