Dentsu delivers end-to-end experience transformation (EX) by integrating its services across Media, CXM and Creative, while its business transformation (BX) mindset pushes the boundaries of transformation and sustainable growth for brands, people and society.We’re hiring a UX Design Executive as part of our design team in London or Manchester, on a 12 month FIXED TERM CONTRACT.Purpose of the RoleThe UX Design Executive will work closely with cross-functional teams, including strategists, developers, designers, and account managers, to create intuitive, accessible, and visually appealing digital experiences.The ideal candidate will have a good understanding of UX principles and design fundamentals, an eagerness to learn, and the ability to turn problems into solutions. We do not expect candidates to have experience in all things digital marketing and CRO. We look for people that have relevant experience and a hunger to learn and develop.Key Responsibilities

  • Support with quantitative and qualitative user research to gather insights into user needs and behaviours.
  • Analyse data and insights to identify pain points, trends, and opportunities for improving user experience through design iterations.
  • Create user journey maps, and scenarios to inform design decisions.
  • Develop wireframes, high-fidelity page designs, and working prototypes to visualise and test design solutions.
  • Create and maintain basic design systems in Figma.
  • Collaborate with fellow designers to ensure the final design aligns with the client’s brand guidelines and answers the brief accurately.
  • Iterate designs based on user feedback and testing results.
  • Work with developers to ensure that designs are technically feasible and accurately implemented.
  • Present design concepts and findings to internal stakeholders, clearly explaining design rationale behind decisions.
  • Collaborate with project managers to ensure timely delivery of design assets and adherence to project timelines and allocated hours.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, web accessibility guidelines, and emerging technologies in UX/UI design.

Qualifications + Skills [bullet points]

  • -2 years of experience in UX design, preferably within an agency setting.
  • Portfolio showcasing UX design projects, including research, wireframes, and final designs.
  • Proficiency in Figma, Adobe XD, Adobe Illustrator.
  • Experience with user research methods and tools is beneficial (e.g. usability testing platforms, analytics software).
  • Basic understanding of HTML and CSS is a plus.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate design decisions clearly.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and a user-centred approach to design.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple projects at once.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
