We are building an inclusive, human-centred product and are looking for a UX Research Lead to become part our remote team and our mission to elevate the human experience of sexuality and relationships.You will be responsible for establishing and leading the UX Research discipline at Feeld from scratch, ensuring that the voice of our members is at the heart of everything from our overall business strategy to everyday product design decision-making.To be right for this role, you should have held a similar position for a least two years and have established research best practices and high-performing teams. You are passionate about building an insights-driven culture that powers the activities of our Product and Growth Teams.What you will do:

  • Establishing UX Research as an integral and essential part of the product and design process at Feeld.
  • Hiring the very best in research talent to be part of your growing and distributed team
  • Working with the VP of Product and Head of Design to shape design practices and processes while representing user research to senior leadership.
  • Advocating for the right research approach at the right time and educating your fellow Feelders around the planning and prioritisation of user research in the organisation
  • Representing user research to senior leadership and elevating the voice of our members at every opportunity.
  • Partnering with the VP of Data and Head of Customer Support to create tangible insights backed by both qualitative and quantitative data.
  • Designing and executing comprehensive research projects to identify member needs, pain points and behaviours and fuel product innovation
  • Monitoring and supporting the product’s weekly and quarterly KPIs

RequirementsAbout you:

  • You have at least two years experience as a User Research Lead/ Head of Research in a fast-paced app environment
  • You possess first-hand experience of conducting a range of research methodologies and coaching others to do the same
  • You have an exceptional ability to communicate complex research findings clearly and effectively at all levels
  • You can demonstrate an ability for thriving in remote and asynchronous work settings, underscoring a self-motivated and proactive work ethic
  • You can establish an insights-led culture that informs all growth and product initiatives across an organisation

  • At Feeld we believe all humans deserve to make a competitive wage. That’s why we offer a Baseline Freedom Salary of £60,000 GBP per year.

Estimated compensation for this role:The total cash compensation for this role is dependent on Level and Step, as well as geographic location, but we estimate that the competitive market compensation for this role is between £105,000 – 140,000 GBP based on the requirements listed in this job description.Our interview process:

  • Your first conversation with Feeld will be a screening call with our recruiter, where you’ll be able to ask – and receive answers – regarding any general questions you have and to confirm the role is a fit for what you’re seeking.
  • Your second conversation will connect you directly with the hiring manager for the role you’re applying to. Here, you’ll have a chance to ask more questions about the work you’ll be doing. This conversation will also focus on your past work experiences.
  • The next step for most of our roles is a candidate challenge. This is an evaluation of the skills relevant to be successful in this role and generally takes about an hour to complete.
  • Your third conversation allows you the opportunity to meet the team members you might be working with on a daily basis. Here, you’ll be able to ask questions about team processes, workflow, and the employee experience at Feeld.
  • We generally make an offer within 2 weeks of our final call, and offer a flexible start date that can begin as early as the next Monday after you sign our offer documentation.
  • Of note: all of our interviews are conducted remotely, and our interviewers will work with you to find an agreeable interview time based on mutual availability.
