Your mission? Solve complex design problems with a user-centred approach and lead the UX function with an enterprise-wide mindset.What You’ll Do:
- Develop Product Strategy: Understand our businesses, people, products, and customers to create value through effective product strategies.
- Think Long-Term: Work across different teams to introduce connected and customer-centric propositions.
- Foster Collaboration: Align and collaborate across functions within the UK, EU, and wider international business.
- Lead & Mentor: Coach and develop the UX team, ensuring clear career pathways aligned with goals and objectives.
- Communicate Effectively: Be an engaging and versatile communicator with a strong work ethic and excellent time-management skills.
- Drive Metrics: Demonstrate how your decisions impact the business through data-driven insights.
Your Responsibilities:
- Leadership & Development: Lead and mentor a team of UX designers and researchers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional growth.
- Design Standards: Establish and uphold design principles and standards across the organization, ensuring consistency and quality in all UX deliverables.
- Customer-Centric Design: Engage closely with customers, translating their feedback into effective design solutions that enhance user experiences.
- Collaboration: Work collaboratively with product teams on transformation initiatives, providing UX design deliverables and consultation.
- Innovation: Drive product innovation by improving automotive vehicle buying and selling platforms, as well as mobile apps.
- Digital Transformation: Support digital transformation by enhancing the connectivity of products and services, delivering a seamless end-to-end experience.
- Strategic Alignment: Develop a deep understanding of customers, people, business, and products to create design solutions aligned with product strategy.
- Prioritisation: Work closely with product teams to prioritise tasks effectively, focusing on critical objectives.
What We’re Looking For:
- Proven UX Design Experience: Strong portfolio showcasing impactful designs.
- Leadership Skills: Experience in mentoring and developing a team.
- Expertise in Wireframes & IA: Ability to produce wireframes, interactive designs, and information architecture.
- Knowledge of Digital Trends: Good understanding of digital trends and best practices within UX.
- Collaboration Skills: Ability to work effectively with product teams and stakeholders.
- Passion for Innovation: Keen interest in the automotive industry.
- Excellent Communication: Strong work ethic and time-management skills.
- Task Prioritisation: Ability to prioritise tasks and maintain focus on key objectives.
Preferred Experience:
- Experience in marketing, retail, technology, or automotive industries.
- Experience in both B2B and B2C environments.
