HS Marston is currently seeking a Vacuum Braze Operator to join their team in Wolverhampton.

Position Summary:

The Vacuum Braze Operator will be responsible for vacuum brazing light alloy and non-light alloy heat exchanger cores, sub-assemblies and fluid management products. The vacuum braze operator will be part of a team responsible for vacuum furnaces. The successful candidate must be prepared to work shifts (am/pm & nights)

Responsibilities:

  • TPM Checks on Furnaces

  • Operation of Vacuum Furnaces

  • Cycle Verifications

  • Post braze inspection

  • SAT & Leak up Checks

  • NADCAP Support

Basic Requirements:

  • Ideal candidate will be apprentice trained; City & Guilds or equivalent qualification

  • Previous experience required of vacuum furnace control and operation

  • Good communication skills, able to communicate at all levels

  • Support ACE activities (5S, TPM, Turnbacks, Clinic)

  • Willingness to be flexible and adaptable

  • The successful candidate must be willing and able to work shifts (am/pm & nights) with the view to move to a 4 on / 4 off shift covering 7 days
