We have the determination to unlock and deliver value where others cannot see it.We are seeking a VDC Specialist to join our team!POSITION SUMMARYThe Virtual Design & Construction (VDC) Specialist assists the VDC team in preparing 4D models (3D + schedule), 5D models (4D + cost), and embodied carbon calculations (5D + Environmental Product Declarations (EPDS)) for bid proposals. The VDC Specialist will begin to take on more responsibility for bid submissions and lead material submissions for VDC content. They will effectively be coordinating the digital coordination of a designated project. Activities will include Building Information Modelling Execution Plan (BEP) creation, clash detection reporting, 4D-6D modelling exercises, and preparing the KPI dashboard.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develop and implement VDC strategies and workflows
• Perform clash detection and coordination
• Support project teams with VDC tools and technologies
• Maintain project documentation related to VDC processes in MPX
• Assist in preparing visualizations and presentations for internal and external stakeholders
• Provide technical support to the project teams as per the MPX Core VDC Product
• Participate in VDC-related meetings and workshops
• Conduct advanced clash detection and resolution
• Train project teams on VDC tools and best practices
• Oversee VDC documentation and ensure accuracy with ISO Requirements
• Coordinate with subcontractors and consultants for VDC integration
• Support the VDC Manager in developing VDC standards and protocols
• Perform 4D (schedule) and 5D (cost) simulations
• Integrate VDC models with other project management software
• Conduct VDC training sessions for internal and external teams
• Lead the creation of detailed and complex visualizations
• Review and validate VDC models for accuracy and compliance
• Provide expert advice on VDC-related issues and technologies
• Keeping up-to-date with latest VDC technologies and trends
• Manage multiple VDC projects simultaneously
• Mentor and guide junior VDC team members
• Ensure that all VDC deliverables meet quality and performance standards
• Other duties as required

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

• 2-3 years of progressive VDC coordination experience (6 months of on-site experience preferred).
• Postsecondary degree or diploma in a related discipline or trade experience or equivalent (Architecture, Civil Engineering). Continued education in VDC program
• Advanced proficiency in Revit for more complex modeling tasks
• Expertise in multiple VDC tools including Revit, Navisworks, AutoCAD, and Building Information Modelling (BIM) 360
• Skilled in 4D scheduling tools such as Fuzor or Navisworks Timeliner
• Experience with 5D Building Information Modelling (BIM) tools (CostX)

Required Skills

• Advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
• Knowledge of project management software integration (e.g., Primavera P6, MS Project)
• Ability to use Bluebeam for document review and markup
• Use of Dynamo for Revit to automate repetitive tasks
• Ability to develop comprehensive training programs and materials
• Proficiency in document management systems (e.g., BIM 360 Docs, Procore)
• Familiarity with collaboration platforms (e.g., ACC, SharePoint)
• Understanding of MPX VDC standards and ability to contribute to their development
• Detailed knowledge of industry standards and model validation techniques

Work Environment

• Travel to required project site locations in Ontario that Multiple conducts business.
