Vehicle Fleet Technician Required in Southampton
- Basic Salary £37,754 Including Shift Allowance
- 37.5 Hour Week Earlies & Late Shifts Rotating, Either 06:30 – 14:30 or 14:30 – 23:00 – 7 Week Rota
- Optional Overtime, Variety of Fleet Work Daily, 25 Days Holiday + BH
- Fleet Maintenance Company – Emergency response vehicles
Our Client, a Fleet Maintenance Company providing work to Fleet & Emergency Response Vehicles in the Southampton area with an excellent reputation, is currently looking to hire an experienced Vehicle Technician to join their team of highly skilled professionals!This is the perfect opportunity for any Fully Qualified Technician looking for one of the most secure jobs within the industry, a variety of Fleet Vehicles to work on daily, and a close-knit team working environment!You will pay an integral part within the maintenance vehicles that are literally lifesavers and join a fantastic group of individuals sharing the same passion for providing a service to the greater Hampshire community.If you have experience as a qualified vehicle mechanic, whether its within cars, LCVs or commercial vehicles, our client would love to speak with you.We’ve worked with this group for the past few years, they provide a great place to work and are committed to providing a brilliant environment to retain quality technical staff and a quality service to the public.What’s in it for you as a Vehicle Technician?

Duties of a Vehicle Technician with our Client:
- Servicing vehicles – carrying out checks and maintenance according to the manufacturer’s guidelines.
- Repairing and replacing faulty parts and components.
- Vehicle Inspections
- Working on Medical Equipment & Electric Hybrid – Full training provided
- Vehicle Diagnostics & Fault Finding
What our client expects of their Vehicle Technician:
- Previous experience in a Vehicle Technician role
- Fully Qualified NVQ Level 3 / City & Guilds & (Physical Certifications)
- Excellent verbal, written and critical thinking skills
- Full UK Driving License
