Responsibilities:

  • Lead the trauma surgery department , including developing the service offerings and building a team.
  • Perform complex trauma surgeries and provide high-level surgical care for critical patients.
  • Collaborate with a talented team of emergency clinicians and specialists.
  • Work closely with leadership to maintain and enhance the hospital’s reputation for exceptional care.
  • Build relationships with referring veterinarians and work directly with the community to provide top-tier care.
  • Continuously look for innovative ways to improve services, procedures, and patient outcomes.
  • Implement a servant leadership approach by fostering a supportive and collaborative culture.

Ideal Candidate: This role is perfect for a board-certified veterinary surgeon who is not only skilled in trauma surgery but also passionate about entrepreneurship and leadership . The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A DVM or equivalent degree with board certification in surgery.
