We are seeking a creative and strategic Marketing & Corporate Affairs Consultant (Video Content and Production Lead) to join our Colleague Engagement team on a 12 month fixed term contract basis.This role is ideal for a dynamic individual who can elevate our internal narrative through creative video content and high-quality video production. You will work alongside communication professionals to ensure output is strategically aligned while using your expertise to curate first-class visual storytelling.As the Video Content and Production Lead, you will oversee the end-to-end production of video content, including concept creation, briefing, planning, filming, editing, and distribution. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to craft compelling videos that resonate with our target audience and drive engagement and advocacy in our Blueprint.You will be part of our Colleague Engagement team and work alongside, events, digital production, and strategy and insights professionals.This role is within the Customer Brand and Engagement Function, which is responsible for building and maintaining Nationwide’s brand and reputation both for customers and colleagues.This is a 12-month Fixed Term Contract within the Colleague Engagement team, who strive to increase all-employee engagement, drive advocacy, and build commitment to Nationwide’s purpose, strategy, and underpinning priorities. You can also find out more about our approach to .There may be requirement to travel to our main offices and branches to capture the best content; being led by where the content takes youIf we receive a high volume of relevant applications, we may close the advert earlier than the advertised date, so please apply as soon as you can.What you’ll be doingVideo Strategy Development: Lead the creation of comprehensive video content strategically aligned to our Blueprint, brand, and internal tone of voice.Production Management: Oversee the entire video production process, from pre-production (storyboarding, scripting) to post-production (editing, colour grading and sound design), for multiple projects.Content Creation: Develop and produce engaging video and promotional content to elevate our communications and drive engagement with our key campaigns.Collaboration: Work closely with our team and across Functions to ensure video content aligns with broader campaign strategies and brand messaging. Never missing a beat.Analytics and Optimization: Use video analytics tools to monitor the performance of video content, providing insights and recommendations for future content improvements.Trends and Innovation: Stay up to date with video production trends, tools, and technology to ensure that our content remains cutting-edge and relevant.About youAs a minimum requirement you will have:

  • Proven experience in video production and content creation, with a strong portfolio showcasing your ability to turn written content into engaging video formats.
  • Proficiency in video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, After Effects).
  • Strong understanding of video production equipment (cameras, lighting, sound).
  • Ability to balance creative vision with business goals, delivering content that resonates with target audiences.
  • Strong communication skills in both verbal and written formats and the ability to work collaboratively across departments.
  • Strong understanding of different video formats and how to optimise content for various platforms.
  • Ability to lead and manage video production projects from start to finish, ensuring timely delivery and quality results.
  • Highly organised, self-starter.
