Video Content ExecutiveHowdens Joinery are looking for a Video Content Executive to create video content for Howdens digital and marketing channels. This is a full time permanent position based from our office in Raunds, Northampton with some home working.Travel and out of hours working for filming on location may be required.What will I be doing as a Video Content Executive.

  • Working closely with the Video Content Manager, you will create video content that aligns to the video plan for use across the business.
  • You will work collaboratively with stakeholders and external agencies to deliver video content that Is best in class, accurate, and reflects the Howden brand voice, while ensuring it is delivered on time and within budget.
  • Work in collaboration with the Video Content Manager and the wider Digital and Marketing teams to produce video content which is fully adaptive (device, context, and person) to provide an engaging customer experience
  • Develop relationships with multiple stakeholders across the business that results in efficient video content production, driving consistency across internal and external channels
  • Work with external agencies and internal teams to manage, develop, and approve video content ensuring the right stakeholders are engaged at the right time
  • Influence multiple stakeholders often with varying objectives and opinions
  • Build partnerships with the digital, marketing and commercial teams to ensure video content is consistently executed across all channels and creative direction is developed collaboratively
  • Maintain an up-to-date database of video content suitable for use across the business in a fast-moving environment

What do I need to qualify for this role?

  • Graduate standard or equivalent vocational qualification preferably Photography / Film / VFX Degree
  • Significant experience managing video production, including storyboarding, scriptwriting, art direction, cinematography sound and post-production
  • A strong portfolio showcasing a range of video projects.
  • Proven experience in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience working with / managing agency relationships
  • Outstanding written communication skills and an eye for detail
  • Proficiency in video editing software (Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve)
  • Highly creative and innovative problem solver
  • Experience operating camera, lighting and sound equipment

Applicants with experience in the following is advantageous:

  • Experience in home improvements sector
  • Experience of interior design and product launches
  • Understanding of brand management
  • Experience with motion graphics and animation
  • Knowledge of CGI and related software (After Effects, Blender, Cinema 4D)
  • Data analysis using tools like Google Analytics, Content Square etc.
