Visitor Experience Administrator | Full time | 35 hoursSalary: | £28,332 – £30,419
Hourly Rate: £15.50 – £16.64 per hour
Hours: 35 hours per week | 5 days (Monday – Friday)

About the Visitor Experience Administrator role:The role of the departmental Administrator is integral in supporting the Visitor Experience department in our collaborative work with all colleagues across the organisation and engaging with our visitors daily. This is not a standard administration job; you will regularly be out and about within the organisation working with our diverse teams and carrying out a variety of tasks. Someone with a flexible and organised approach, a confident, positive and engaging personality who enjoys variety and delivers high standards with attention to detail will be an ideal fit for this role.As an Administrator at National Museums Scotland you will:

  • Be the main point of contact for the department and process internal and external enquiries and requests, ensuring excellent communication and responsiveness in support of the overall visitor experience
  • Support the Head of Department in such duties as running his/her diary, providing a point of contact, dealing with correspondence and other typing as necessary and organising paperwork, to ensure his/her effectiveness.
  • Support as required with the use of the dedicated CRM and ticketing system

Skills and experience we’re looking for in our Administrator:

  • Effective ICT skills in Microsoft Office including, Word, Excel, Outlook and databases.
  • Skills in administering complex sets of information
  • Experience of using a CRM/electronic ticketing system
  • Experience of managing and processing data and financial information
