Reporting to the Head of Visual Merchandising you will support the total Prestige Visual Merchandising and Store Design function and will play key role in supporting the execution of retail excellence strategy across all Coty’s prestige brands in all UK&I retailers.
The VM Assistant is an established team player, passionate about Beauty and the In-Store environment, with experience and appetite for owning the creative but also administrative aspect of the business.WHAT YOU WILL DO:

• Responsible for supporting the project management and implementation of Visual Merchandising and Store Design executions in Permanent doors, temporary activations and pop-ups, ensuring timelines are met within budgetary parameters.
• Responsible for monthly competitor reviews, ensuring trends and relevant updates from inside and outside the Beauty industry are communicated and presented to the wider team to bolster knowledge and creativity.
• Responsible for supporting the implementation of new product launches and permanent animations in-store, considering all customer touch points and building customer-centric and engaging retail concepts.
• Responsible for developing, effectively tracking and communicating VM elements forecasts, Tester ordering, Purchase Orders, Maintenance reports as well as controlling and reporting allocated budgets.
• Responsible for organising and implementing visual and digital updates from brief to execution, across the Permanent estate in collaboration with the VM Project Managers.
• Key support for new boutique and new door openings and sites, contributing to organise all elements and teams appointed for the launch, attending and actively contributing to physical merchandising days.
• Conduct monthly visits to key doors and champion collaboration with Retail Excellence Manager. Help establish a strong partnership with field teams focusing on clear communication of VM guidelines & processes, creation of effective store reports as well as ensuring highest levels of retail excellences are met in-store.
• Support the creation of effective briefings for internal and external designers and support the VM team in the management of external suppliers and agencies, regularly visiting to check and supervise production, quality of materials and prototypes.
• Integrate sustainability as a key driver of the visual merchandising action actively participating in the VM Sustainability Taskforce and supporting the Head of VM in the delivery of the sustainability goals in UK and Globally.
• Partner and ally with the wider internship team to ensure VM & Store Design is leading in cross-functional projects and these are presented and cascaded to the wider Coty community.

PROFESSIONAL PROFILE

• Graduate in Interior Design, Product Design or Architecture. Creative, Marketing or Business-related degree will also be considered.

TECHNICAL SKILLS

• Ability to manage multiple projects.
• Adobe Creative Suite: Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign.
• Office package literate: Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook.
• 3D design and or CAD software (Sketch-up, AutoCAD, Vectorwoks, C4D) is highly desirable but no essential.
• Creative and conceptualisation skills.
• Strong Power Point and presentation skills with the ability to engage with different stakeholders and effectively pitch for ideas / concepts.

SOFT SKILLS

• Strong team player who is very well organised with a sense of priorities.
• Ability to work autonomously and multitask in a fast-paced collaborative environment.
• A passion for the beauty industry, keenly following the latest trends
• Strong attention to detail. Creative eye and appreciations of aesthetics.
• Ability to work effectively to deadlines.
• Open and diverse work ethic.
