This pivotal role will allow us to diversify our marketing strategies away from mainly paid ads to fulfil our goal of raising $1B for start-ups by 2028.Working closely with our Head of Marketing (whom you will manage), you will drive our brand forward, increase market share, and achieve our ambitious growth targets. This is not a passive role. You will be a key member of the leadership team and pivotal in helping us reach more and more business owners, enabling us to support them and act as a platform for them. We need someone who brings a wealth of experience, has successfully built and led marketing teams, and possesses a deep understanding of the latest marketing trends and technologies.You will be working to:

  • Develop and execute a marketing strategy to match our awesome service and our very big ambitions.
  • Focus your plan on the US and UK markets, targeting SME/owner-founder companies where our product will have a huge impact on their success.
  • Deliver this strategy so that more people know who we are, more people want to work with us, and more people actually work with us.
  • Lead, mentor, and build a high-performing marketing team. We believe in a culture of creativity, working together, and delivering top-tier work. So do you, and you’ll be a driving force for these values in how you run your team.
  • Manage the Head of Marketing and support them in overseeing all marketing functions, including digital marketing, content creation, public relations, product marketing, demand generation, partnerships, and events.
  • You will live for the data, being the one who knows where to find it, what it says, and how to use it to deliver and unlock compounding levels of success in our marketing efforts.
  • Utilise B2B marketing strategies to create a message that resonates with owners and founders, helping them learn about our product in an engaging and relatable way similar to consumer marketing.
  • Expand our marketing reach into new areas such as content marketing, public and influencer relations, partnerships, and indirect channels to market.
  • Focusing on key marketing disciplines such as market sizing, market segmentation, and persona / ideal customer profile (ICP) tactics to get even closer to the people we know we can help and serve.
  • Work hand-in-hand with our sales and product teams to ensure that we are all moving forward as one towards our business goals.
  • Own and manage the marketing budget and master the game of quantity, quality and cost.
  • Report directly to and work closely with the CEO, providing regular updates on marketing performance and strategic recommendations.

About You

  • A proven track record in developing and executing marketing strategies from solid analysis in global markets (US/UK).
  • Experience in marketing for small businesses within B2B or B2B2C environments.
  • Proven track record of delivering marketing in areas such as content marketing, public and influencer relations, partnerships, and indirect channels to market.
  • Able to articulate the importance of understanding market sizing, segmentation, and using appropriate marketing tactics according to TAM and ICP persona development, and a proven track record in delivering results from this understanding.
  • Focus on US expansion from a UK base with an understanding of different business cultures.
  • Enough years of marketing experience to demonstrate you have delivered what we need, specifically having done so for a solid amount of time at the key senior leadership level. (Anywhere from 5-10 years if a number helps you, but if you have less and still feel you have had enough experience, please still apply).
  • Ideally, you will have experience with SaaS/ annual subscription (ARR) products and have worked with growing start-ups before, ideally within the Tech industry.
  • You are able to demonstrate communication skills that make you capable of distilling complex problems and communicating across departments.
  • Passion for innovation and staying ahead of industry trends.

The successful candidate will be UK-based, living in or around London and must have the right to work in the UK.
