A propos de PASQALPASQAL is building and developing Quantum Processing Units (QPUs) enabling highly performant computation using neutral atoms manipulated with lasers. On the hardware level, the complexity of the setup makes this journey unique and interesting. The Platform Management & Validation department is in charge of supervising the successive hardware platform generationswhich includes managing architectural definitions and evolutions, integrating new modules and measuring the sub-system and system performances.Your main responsibilities:

• Contribute to company governance through involvement in Management Committee and Hardware committees.
• Contribute to elaborating the hardware strategy and ensure coherence of the

hardware technical roadmaps with respect to the product roadmap and to strategic
choices of the company. * Lead the implementation of hardware roadmaps on the department perimeter (system architecture management, system integration activities, validation of new systems or sub-systems, characterization of performances).

• Manage the Platform Management & Validation department (budget, hiring plan,

reporting, communication, …). * Operational management of team leaders, including recruitment if needed.

• Build and consolidate work methodologies and processes to facilitate collaborations between teams within and outside the department.
• Represent the company to its various stakeholders (investors, customers, partners

About you: You have around 10+ years experience in managing R&D teams in a highly technical working environment.Hard skills:

• Engineering skills in photonics, opto-mechanics or similar.
• Skills in system architecture and system integration.
• Experience in working with complex hardware systems in industrial sectors.
• Experience in system management tools (PLM, model-based system management,

test management tool, …). * Knowledge in quantum physics is a plus.Soft skills:

• Autonomy, rigor, organization and team spirit.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills in English and French.
• Leadership and culture of commitment.
• Strong managerial skills.
• Proven ability to collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams.
