  • Registered Nurse with live NMC Pin.
  • Previous Experience at a senior level (band 6 or above).
  • Post basic relevant study equivalent to degree level or willingness to complete.
  • Committed to on-going professional development.
  • Recognised teaching qualification.
  • Evidence of leadership training.

Physical SkillsEssential

  • Ability to work flexibly to meet service needs.
  • Able to provide personal care for patients in a ward environment.

AptitudesEssential

  • Proven teaching ability and experience of being an effective mentor/preceptor or facilitator.
  • Evidence of involvement with quality improvement in the clinical area.
  • Demonstrated an understanding of quality and clinical governance issues.
  • Can demonstrate key competencies of our vision, values and behaviours.

  • Proven managerial experience at deputy level.
