We are currently hiring a Warehouse Maintenance Technician for full-time work with our client in Mississauga, ONThis job will require you to operate the forklift – forklift certification and experience is requiredPay: $24.00/hourShift: 8:00am-4:30pm Monday-FridayResponsibilities:
– Maintenance/repairs of the interior and exterior of warehouse facility including plumbing, welding, painting, etc
– Preventative maintenance work
– Maintain cleaning supplies
– Prepare reports
– Occasionally travel to other sites
– Other duties as requiredQualifications:
– Trade school diploma or equivalent required, college degree in a related field preferred
– Previous experience in warehouse maintenance/servicing (2-3 years)
– Valid drivers license
– Comfortable doing manual work
– Knowledge of health and safety compliance requirements (forklift, harness restraint, lockout procedures, PPE, WHMIS, etc)
– Good computer skills (Excel, Word)
– Strong knowledge of building maintenance
– Strong leadership skills
– Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
– Good customer service skills
– Strong negotiation skills
– Driven/results-oriented
– Process review/project management skills
