Venatu Recruitment Group is hiring for multiple supervisor positions at our client in Rotherham. This is an excellent opportunity to join a dynamic team and make a significant impact on warehouse operations.

- Location: Rotherham
- Salary: £25k
- Hours: 40 hours per week
- Shifts Available: Days, Afters, or Nights (working a 5 in 7 pattern)
- Benefits: 28 days annual leave
Job Overview:We are seeking an experienced Warehouse Supervisor to oversee and coordinate the daily warehousing activities. You will implement production, productivity, quality, and customer service standards and achieve the appropriate level of volume within time limits. Ultimately, you should be able to ensure that daily operations meet and exceed daily performance expectations and increase the company’s overall market share.Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and manage warehouse staff, ensuring they are trained and adhere to safety protocols.
- Oversee receiving, warehousing, and distribution operations.
- Implement and maintain efficient warehouse processes to guarantee productivity and accuracy.
- Monitor and control inventory levels by conducting physical counts and reconciling with the data storage system.
- Ensure the efficient utilisation of warehouse space and mechanical handling equipment, ensuring quality, budgetary targets, and environmental objectives are met.
- Maintain high standards of quality and safety in the warehouse environment.
- Coordinate and communicate with various departments to ensure smooth operations.
- Ensure compliance with all warehouse legal requirements.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Proven work experience as a Warehouse Supervisor.
- Highly effective supervisory skills and techniques.
- Knowledge of warehouse software packages and MS Office proficiency.
- Ability to input, retrieve and analyse data.
- Hands-on commitment to getting the job done.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proven ability to direct and coordinate operations.
- Strong organisational and time management skills.
Preferred Skills:
- Forklift certification.
- Experience with inventory management software (e.g., SAP Warehouse Management).
- Competent in using IT, including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and WMS.
