As a Floater Caregiver, you will play a versatile role, providing crucial care and support for our senior clients. This position requires flexibility, reliability, and the ability to be available at any time when assigned. - Assist clients with their personal care needs, ensuring their comfort and preserving their dignity.
- Manage clients’ medications by providing reminders and support.
- Closely monitor clients’ health and promptly report any changes to the nursing supervisor.
- Maintain accurate records of all provided care and document any observations or concerns.
- Provide companionship, emotional support, and active listening to clients, promoting their well-being.
- Assist with light housekeeping tasks, meal preparation, and errand running.
- Create a safe and clean environment that promotes the overall safety and well-being of clients.
- Effectively and professionally communicate with clients, their families, and the healthcare team.
- Be flexible and available to work at varying assigned times, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Drive to different locations as required to fulfill job responsibilities.
- Perform a wide range of tasks tailored to meet the unique needs of each individual client.
- Quickly adapt to changing schedules and responsibilities to provide the best possible care.
Requirements:
- Hold a valid Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in the state of Hawaii.
- Possess a minimum of 1 year of experience in a healthcare setting.
- Have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Be willing to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays, while maintaining a full-time schedule.
- Demonstrate compassion, patience, and excellent communication skills.
- Have the ability to multitask and efficiently prioritize tasks.
- Successfully complete a background check and drug screening.
- Possess a strong work ethic and exhibit dependability.
- Be capable of adapting to various tasks and environments.
- Have outstanding communication skills.
