This part-time, remote position requires approximately 30-40 hours of work per month, focusing on website maintenance and implementing necessary changes. The role offers an excellent opportunity for a beginner-level developer to gain practical experience in a real-world business environment, with the potential for ongoing work and future projects.Responsibilities:
- Perform regular maintenance on the car rental website to ensure smooth operation
- Implement necessary updates and changes to the existing Laravel-based website
- Debug and fix any issues that arise in the website’s functionality
- Optimize website performance and load times
- Assist in adding new features or modifying existing ones as required
Requirements
- Beginner-level experience with Laravel framework and PHP
- Basic understanding of MVC architecture
- Familiarity with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
- Experience with version control systems, preferably Git
- Basic knowledge of database management, particularly MySQL
