A metal manufacturing company in Burleson is adding an experienced Welder to their team! This company was founded in 1951. Over the decades they have expanded through machining, fabrication, forging, casting, and powdered metal technology. They manufacture and supply power transmission components, industrial hand tools, and material handling products.

This is a full-time, temp to hire position that offers a comprehensive benefits package and ample opportunities for growth and development.

As a Welder, you’ll collaborate closely with other tenured maintenance teams to understand processes and procedures.

Welder Job Duties:

• Weld metal part using a MIG welding process
• Must be able to read a tap measure down to 1/16″ increments
• Work from process sheets, blueprints, or other written/verbal instructions given by the supervisor to perform production task
• Maneuver large, awkward or heavy parts manually or with a crane.
• Inspect weld throughout the process and use grinding tools when necessary.

Schedule: Monday – Friday 1st Shift 7:00 am – 3:00pm or Monday – Thursday 2nd Shift 3:00pm – 1:00am

Pay: $19.00 – 23.00

Welder Requirements:

• MIG welding experience in a manufacturing environment or equivalent schooling preferred
• Experience with grinding tools and machines preferred
• Simple oral communication skills; ability to read and comprehend instructions written in English and complete simple logs and reports in English
• Physically able to handle heavy items including lifting, pushing, pulling, and positioning components
• Work scheduled hours and comply with the company’s timekeeping policy and all other company policies
• Able to consistently stand for an entire shift
• Ability to work in a non-climate-controlled shop environment?
