Here are some key responsibilities of the role:Learn about and contribute to TJX Canada Finance function which includes analysis of financial data while partnering with various business areas to provide support for accounting/reporting functions including budgeting, forecasting and analyzing variancesEstablish positive business relationships with various business partners and assist in supporting improvement and business analysis projectsAssist in preparing weekly/monthly/quarterly financial reportsPartner with all stakeholders to assist in preparing financial analysis and presenting recommendations to management on an ad-hoc basis to assist in decision makingAssist in performing general accounting month-end/year-end duties such as sub-ledger close, posting journal entries including accruals/adjusting entries, and compiling balance sheet reconciliations and schedules in accordance with GAAP and company policies.What you’ll needTo begin your career with us, you’ll have:Pursuing a post-secondary education in Finance, Accounting, Economics or MathematicsIntermediate/Advanced MS Excel and working knowledge of other Microsoft Office applicationsStrong analytical thinking and attention to detailAbility to work with minimal supervision in a collaborative team environment / business partnering division partneringHourly Rate: $26.30
