Job Role: Workshop Plant Fitter
Location: Tamworth, Staffordshire
Salary: £40,000-£44,000 per annum
Hours: Monday-Friday 06.00-17.00 + Overtime @ 1.25x
Job Type: Full time, PermanentThe Client:
Interaction Technical have partnered with a well-established plant hire firm to support the growth of their team. Our client, who are currently undergoing exponential are looking to onboard & train engineers from either a plant, HGV, Automotive or Agricultural background to the team with experience working on Telehandlers being a bonus.The package:

• 25 days Annual Leave + Public Holidays (33 overall)
• All overtime is paid at 1.25x
• Additional day’s annual leave for birthday (closest working day)

The Responsibilities:

• Perform maintenance and repair of plant machinery and equipment – Predominantly Telehandlers.
• Diagnose complex technical issues and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
• Collaborate with clients to understand their specific requirements and provide expert recommendations.
• Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance to ensure optimal equipment performance
• Keep detailed records of service activities, parts used, and work completed for accurate reporting

The Requirements:

• Previous experience working in the Plant, Automotive, HGV or Agricultural industry (essential)
• Previous experience working with hydraulics, alongside mechanical and electrical capabilities (essential)
• Experience working on engines would be advantageous
• Electrical and/or Mechanical fault finding, repair & service experience
• A desire to lead, manage and grow a team of your own
• Relevant qualifications NVQ or City and Guilds in mechanical/electrical engineering (advantageous)
• Full UK Drivers License
